Reflection Two

I think gender has role in situations of the opposite sex. For example, a floor with male residence will be more responsive to a male RA. People are comfortable within their own groups and fell a connection, whether it be age, sex, race, hometown, etc. I definitely am more comfortable leading women than I am men. I still implement the same style and try to keep my consistency but I have trouble with men. I my lst position, I had no problem and everything went as planned, everyone was treated the same. But in previous situations, some of the men got out of hand, which made it difficult for me.

I try to stay the same in my styles, so hopefully, it's not that big of a difference.

Reflection One

My first experience was here at Chatham. Move-in day was something I will never forget. It was kind of funny because I arrived as one of the first to move in and around 9:00. everyone else arrived at the same and it was a huge competition for the space and for the help fo the RAs. I fel strange in my new setting, I didn't know anyone yet and there was no on eI felt comfortable just yet. I noticed the same thing around me but there were a few that were a;ready forming groups, maybe because they were more outward than me or because they came with a friend. The next few days I found my place in the community and slipped into my role.
